And I just can’t hide it. It’s a bit early to be excited, but the patio/deck construction is finally starting! Patio first.
There’s a bit of a perspective/photographic scale issue there, but it really is a YUGE patio at about a third of the back yard. Scale is even harder to see here:

Hah! I hadn’t noticed that little dot in the bottom right (a fence post that didn’t get deleted from the yard drawing). That’s why it printed so oddly! The yard continues in that direction; it’s just not relevant to the patio plan.

Since there aren’t many remodeling progress photos here, I’ll try to make this a series. One can hope for a fast, brief series.
