The patio is poured and usable, if not officially “cured.” We tested it out on Sunday.

The driveway segment is ready to pour.

We didn’t do the entire thing. About that much again to the left. It was badly graded and rain would run into the garage and was causing that side of the house to settle – that’s what’s causing the cracks in the retaining wall. We got it regraded and paved up to the end of the retaining wall, which is about half the driveway. There’s a parking space at the end, so doing the whole thing would have doubled the cost (of the driveway and patio together). We can always have it done, later.
That’s in the back. The front matches the aesthetic:

This is Road Construction – Extreme Edition. They’re replacing all the water and sewer lines, so there is _nothing_ being left behind. Note how the sidewalk is also gone. It’s like this for blocks.
And, yes, that means both the back and front driveways, which go to different garages (what? you don’t have a two story garage?) are both unusable.
