I know I said I wouldn’t do this, but it happened, anyway. The garden beds are the white, rounded rectangles along the edges. The grey is concrete. The bluish grey lines are the chain-link fence with the posts as block dots. It’s to-scale.

I had the drawing – several versions – so adding the garden beds was no big deal.
12 6×1, 5 6×2, and 4 2×2 beds is a 148 square foot garden, which is just over 12×12, which isn’t that big. I should be able to fill it. That was the point of actually drawing it out: To be able plan what goes where on paper each year.
Rounding for easy math, each bed is 10 2x6x8s. That’s 210 planks, which is (will be) 1800 faces stained. We’re going to have enough of the corner blocks to get through the first two-thirds (west and south sides). The remaining third (east side) will need more blocks, but that is not even getting started until the deck is complete and the yard is leveled. I read that as “next spring”.
Me, renting a Bobcat. There will be pictures; hopefully not disaster pictures.
