In addition to bringing the vanity replacement saga to a close, we continued the garden project, which isn’t really a “saga”; everything is proceeding as planned, just slowly.
The next step is to work out from the far corner, because they compost will be in whatever space is left after a 2’x2′ corner and a 2’x6′ bed – symmetric with the corner that is now complete. Measuring, it will be 62″. I never believe measurements that need to match up from both sides. If I had been drilling the chunnel, the two sides would never have intersected. I will build out the known parts, then measure what’s left.
Plans have already changed for that space. Originally, the sheet of plywood, which is cropped off on the right edge of the picture, was going to be “decking” beneath the compost bins. The Laird suggested bricking it, instead. That’s a much better idea. He could have mentioned it before we bought the plywood, though.
