Puppet Show Curtains

Nick does not like puppet show curtains. In fact, I believe that he coined the expression.

Drapes and curtains “should” go from just below the ceiling to just above the floor. They are not “supposed” to be just barely larger than the window. I actually agree with this as a general rule.

However, as you can see, I have art (playbills from Denver) above the curtains and the couch is below the curtains. The number of small frames makes the wall look busy, but until I get sick of them and replace them with something the same height but much wider, I’m keeping them. Seeing the picture, I should probably spend the time to get them all at the same level, probably the bottoms lined up. The couch cannot come out off the wall because that would impinge upon the throughfare. Therefore, puppet show curtains.

Not to mention that the cat likes them because he can push them aside to see outside.
