I highly recommend getting any desired trenching work done before doing anything else to one’s yard. We’re getting our power lines buried because we want a second floor deck. As the power lines exist, they would either take off your head or electrocute you when you walked across the deck. The trench was dug, conduit laid, inspected, and backfilled this week. Behold the yard:
Had we done any landscaping, it would be destroyed. Next week, the power lines (you can see them in the picture) will be buried. The electric company will not schedule it until the trench is inspected so there is a delay.
BTW: Note the lack of any evidence of a shed. The Dark Shed theory no longer has any evidence to support it.
