The question is: Do I have the same background problem?
That’s from the PC Kindle Reader (which gets worse with every release). I have the theme set to Sepia. It’s obvious the background of that image is white, which works fine on my actual Kindle. Does Kindle support transparent backgrounds?
A transparent background means the image cannot be JPEG, which does not support transparency. PNG does. My paw is PNG with a transparent background; I just checked.

It does have a small shadow around it. I think that’s an artifact. The same sort of shadow appears in the File Explorer preview, but it’s black.
I guess we will see when I create the EPUB version. I’ve tried, once. Calibre doesn’t work the way I think it works. I need instructions. They’re not difficult to find. I just haven’t gotten around to it, yet.
Update: He does the gratuitous font thing, too. This is also Vision & Venture: The Glyphwrite Chronicles – Book 4.
I think the worst part of this is that I find both fonts ugly and harder to read than common fonts. If there were some improvement, I might judge less harshly.
